Overview
A Payment Link is the fastest way to sell anything online. One link, one checkout, and your buyer is done. You can use Payment Links to sell digital products, coaching sessions, paid webinars, files, access, or anything else you charge for.
This guide walks you through creating your first Payment Link from start to finish.
Zero Transaction Fees on Every Sale
Most platforms take a percentage of every payment you collect. CommuniPass does not.
Payment Links on CommuniPass are one of the only solutions in the world that charge 0% transaction fees. Every dollar your buyer pays goes directly to you, with no percentage cut taken by the platform.
⚠️ Note: The zero transaction fee applies to Payment Links specifically. For other products on the platform, CommuniPass charges just 1% per transaction with a minimum of $0.50. That is still one of the lowest rates in the industry.
Step 1: Create Your Payment Link
From your Creator Dashboard, click Create Payment Link.
Give it a clear name. For example: One-on-One Coaching Session.
Add a short description if you want. This is optional.
Step 2: Set Your Price and Payment Type
Enter your price.
Choose the payment type:
One-time payment for a single charge
Monthly recurring for a subscription billed every month
Yearly recurring for a subscription billed once a year
Select the currency you want to charge in.
Step 3: Add a Coupon Code (Optional)
Under Advanced Options, you can create a coupon code for discounts or promotions.
Enable the coupon option.
Set the code name. For example: SECRET.
Choose the discount type:
Percentage (for example, 50% off)
Fixed amount (for example, $50 off)
Under the advanced coupon settings, you can also control:
How many times the code can be used in total
Whether it is limited to one use per customer
Whether it applies only to first-time buyers
A minimum purchase amount required to use it
An expiration date so the code stops working automatically
You can enable or disable any coupon code at any time.
Step 4: Set a Purchase Limit (Optional)
If you want to cap how many people can buy, enter a maximum number of purchases. This is useful for limited spots, exclusive offers, or capped digital product batches.
Step 5: Choose What Happens After Payment
This is where you decide what your buyer receives after checkout. You have two options:
Option A: Redirect to a URL
Send buyers to any link after payment. For example:
A Google Drive folder with your files
A Zoom webinar registration page
A private community or course page
Option B: Upload a File
Upload a file directly to CommuniPass. After payment, buyers are automatically redirected to a protected download or streaming link. This works for PDFs, videos, presentations, and any other digital asset.
💡 Tip: The file upload option is the simplest way to sell digital products. You do not need a separate hosting service. CommuniPass hosts and protects the file for you.
Step 6: Share Your Link and Start Selling
Click Continue and your Payment Link is live. Copy the link and share it anywhere.
Where to Use Payment Links
Payment Links are not just standalone checkout pages. You can plug them into almost any part of your business:
Inside a challenge. On the last day, share a Payment Link for your next step, whether that is a coaching session, a continuation program, or a bonus resource.
Connected to a GuruTwin agent. Your AI agent can suggest or sell products automatically based on the conversation, with a Payment Link handling the checkout.
In your bio, emails, newsletters, or communities. Anywhere you share a link, a Payment Link can work.
💡 Tip: The core idea is simple. One link, one checkout. You do not need a website, a landing page, or a complex funnel to start getting paid.
Common Questions
Can I sell both one-time products and subscriptions with Payment Links?
Yes. When you create the link, you choose whether it is a one-time charge, monthly recurring, or yearly recurring. Each link has its own payment model.
What file types can I upload for digital delivery?
You can upload PDFs, videos, presentations, and most common digital file formats. The file is hosted securely inside CommuniPass and only accessible to buyers after payment.
Can I create more than one coupon code per Payment Link?
You can create coupon codes per link and control each one independently, including enabling or disabling them at any time.
Can I use Payment Links without a full website or landing page?
Yes. A Payment Link is a self-contained checkout page. You do not need a website to start selling. Just create the link and share it.
