What is a Free Challenge?

A Free Challenge is a challenge that does not include a checkout or payment step. Participants register through a challenge registration page, choose how they want to receive the daily content, and join the challenge without paying.

The goal of a Free Challenge is not immediate payment. The goal is to build trust, create engagement, grow your community, collect qualified leads, and prepare participants for a follow-up offer.

What stays the same

A Free Challenge uses the same core challenge experience as a paid challenge

Registration page

Daily content

Participant delivery channel

Welcome Message

Master Link

Participant settings

Content access

Engagement tracking

Optional participant limit

What changes

The only major difference is that the payment step is skipped. After the creator chooses Free Challenge, the setup continues directly to the registration page instead of pricing and checkout setup.

When to use a Free Challenge

Use a Free Challenge when

Your audience needs to trust you before buying

You want to build a community

You want to validate a topic

You want to collect leads

You want to create engagement before selling

You want to move people into a Paid Group, Paid Challenge, AI Agent, coaching offer, workshop, or Payment Link

Participant flow

Participants register on the landing page, choose their content delivery channel, and receive daily content through the selected channel. They can also use the Master Link to access their daily content, update delivery settings, and get support.

Best practices

A Free Challenge should still have a clear outcome. Do not treat it like random free content. Give participants a small win, keep the daily tasks simple, and plan the follow-up offer before the challenge starts.

What to do next

Create a Free Challenge when your main goal is trust and audience activation. Create a Paid Challenge when your main goal is immediate revenue and participant commitment.
