What happens when someone joins

When someone pays for a Paid Group, CommuniPass processes the payment, notifies you that a new member joined, and redirects the buyer to the group link you configured.

What happens with recurring subscriptions

If your Paid Group uses monthly or yearly subscriptions, CommuniPass tracks the subscription status behind the scenes. Active paying members can receive protected content and remain part of the paid access flow.

What happens when a payment fails

When a payment fails, CommuniPass automatically retries the payment several times based on best practices. You do not need to manually chase every failed payment immediately.

Only if all retry attempts fail does CommuniPass notify you and clearly show which member needs to be removed from the group.

Why this matters

Without subscription management, paid communities quickly become hard to manage. You may forget who paid, who canceled, who failed payment, and who should still have access. CommuniPass reduces that manual work and keeps you informed.

Important note

Before publishing this article, confirm the exact retry timing and whether removal is automatic or creator-managed for each group type and platform integration.
