Overview
CommuniPass lets you run a paid community wherever you and your audience feel most comfortable, whether that's WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or any other platform. You stay in control of where the community lives. CommuniPass handles the payments, member access, and protected content delivery behind the scenes.
This article walks you through setting up a paid group from start to finish.
How It Works
Before you build, here is the big picture.
You choose where the community lives. WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or anywhere else.
CommuniPass manages the subscriptions. Payments, retry logic, and failed payment alerts are all handled automatically.
Your members choose how they receive exclusive content. WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or email.
You schedule everything from one place. Videos, files, and updates are hosted securely and delivered only to active paying members.
So you manage the community. CommuniPass manages the money and the content delivery.
Step 1: Create Your Paid Group
From your Creator Dashboard, click Create Your Paid Group.
Give your group a clear, specific name. For example: David's Daily Stock Briefing. You can always change it later.
Click Create and Continue.
Step 2: Set Your Subscription Model
Choose Monthly, Yearly, or Both.
💡 Tip: Offering both monthly and yearly options increases conversions. It gives people flexibility and lets you reward members who commit for the full year.
Set your pricing. For example: $99 per month and $999 per year.
If needed, adjust the total charge so the final number looks right at checkout.
Step 3: Define Your Community Benefits
Add the benefits members get when they join. This is what people see on your registration page, so be specific.
For example:
Daily pre-market stock analysis
Real-time trade breakdowns
Weekly live strategy sessions
Members-only market alerts
Direct Q&A access
The more specific your benefits, the stronger your positioning.
💡 Tip: Use the Income Estimator below the benefits section to project your potential monthly and yearly revenue based on expected member count.
Click Save and Continue.
Step 4: Build Your Registration Page
This is the page you will share publicly. Use it to:
Explain the value of joining
Add a video introducing yourself or the community
Share your story
Add testimonials
Once this page is ready, the registration link becomes your main monetization entry point. This is the link you share with your audience.
Click Save and Continue.
Step 5: Configure Welcome Message and Group Access
Write your welcome message. This is sent automatically right after someone pays. Use it to welcome the new member and tell them what to expect next.
Optionally, set a maximum number of members if you want to create scarcity or manage capacity.
Paste your group platform link under Group Platform Link. This is the link to your actual WhatsApp group, Telegram channel, Discord server, or wherever your community lives.
Once someone pays, they are automatically redirected to join that group.
Your paid group is now live. You can copy the registration link and start sharing it right away.
Step 6: Schedule Content for Your Members
Inside the Calendar, you can schedule exclusive content to be sent directly to your paying members through their preferred channel.
Click on a date in the calendar.
Add a title, text, video, files, or links.
Choose the exact date and time for delivery.
Click Save.
Content is delivered automatically on schedule. It is hosted securely and only accessible to members with an active subscription.
💡 Tip: You can schedule content weeks or even months in advance. This is especially useful if you run a recurring briefing, course, or weekly live session.
Common Questions
Can I use any platform for my community?
Yes. CommuniPass works with any platform where you can share a group link, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Facebook Groups, and more.
What happens if a member's payment fails?
CommuniPass automatically retries the charge several times. If all retries fail, you are notified and shown exactly which member needs to be removed. You do not need to track payments manually.
Can I change my group name or pricing later?
Yes. You can update your group name, pricing, benefits, and registration page at any time from your Creator Dashboard.
What if I want to limit how many people can join?
You can set a maximum member count when configuring your group. Once that limit is reached, new registrations are paused automatically.
