Step 1: Review the knowledge base
Open the Knowledge Base management area and check whether the relevant information was actually uploaded or added.
Step 2: Add missing materials
Add files, links, documents, raw text, or other materials that cover the missing topic.
Step 3: Improve instructions
Tell the agent how it should answer, what it should avoid, and what it should do when it does not know the answer.
Step 4: Restrict the agent when needed
If you want the agent to answer only from your knowledge base, use the Knowledge Base management settings and instruct the agent to say when the answer is not available in the provided materials.
Step 5: Test with real questions
Ask the agent the same question in different ways. If the answer is still weak, refine the instruction or add clearer source material.
Step 6: Update after publishing
You can continue updating the Knowledge Base after the agent is published. You can improve materials, add new content, and refine generated behavior over time.
Best practices
Good AI answers come from a combination of strong materials and clear behavior instructions. Do not rely only on files. Tell the agent how to use them.
