Overview

Tracking your audience’s behavior with ad pixels allows you to measure, optimize, and retarget your paid ad campaigns effectively. CommuniPass currently supports Google (GA4 & Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook) Pixels, enabling you to track key user interactions automatically.

This guide explains how to integrate your tracking pixels and how CommuniPass automatically fires key events.

How to Add Your Google or Meta (Facebook) Pixel

1. Go to the Creator Dashboard

2. Click on Settings

3. Scroll down to the Pixels section

4. Locate the appropriate input field based on your tracking platform:

• Google (GA4 & Google Ads)

• Meta (Facebook) Pixel

5. Copy your Google Measurement ID or Facebook Pixel ID and paste it into the correct field

6. Click Save. Your pixel is now active!

Automatically Tracked Events

Once your tracking pixel is integrated, CommuniPass automatically detects and fires key events in the relevant places, so you can track your campaign performance without any manual coding.

Tracked Events and Their Triggers

Event Name

Triggered When…

Page View

A visitor lands on your community, challenge, or other pages related to your community.

Initiated Checkout

A user starts the checkout process

Purchase

A user successfully completes a payment

These events are automatically sent to Google and Meta, allowing you to optimize ads for conversions, retarget users, and gain deeper insights into your audience’s behavior.

💡 Pro Tip: Verify Your Pixel is Working Correctly

To ensure your tracking pixel is embedded correctly and firing events as expected, we highly recommend using the following Chrome extensions:

Meta Pixel Helper (for Facebook Pixel)

Google Tag Assistant (for Google Analytics & Ads)

These tools help verify if the pixel is active, check for errors, and confirm that events are being sent correctly. After installing, navigate to your community page and checkout flow, then check the tools to ensure events are firing. Finally, log into your Google Ads, GA4, or Meta Business Manager to confirm that the data is appearing correctly on the platform side.

Why Use Pixel Tracking?

Retargeting – Show ads to users who visited your page but didn’t complete a purchase

Conversion Optimization – Train Google and Meta’s algorithms to optimize your ads for actions that matter

Performance Analysis – Measure the effectiveness of your paid campaigns
